Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22775
Ibn Ishaq states that Ubadah bin Samit, may Allah be pleased with him, son of Qais, son of Asram, son of Fihr, son of Tha'labah, son of Ghanam, son of Auf, son of Khuzaimah, was among the twelve people who participated in the first pledge of Aqabah with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
ابن اسحاق کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ بن قیس بن اصرام بن فہر بن ثعلبہ بن غنم بن عوف بن خزرج، ان بارہ افراد میں سے تھے جنہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے عقبہ کی بیعت اولیٰ میں شرکت کی تھی۔
Ibn Ishaq kahte hain ki Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit Radi Allaho Anhu bin Qais bin Asram bin Fahr bin Salabah bin Ghanam bin Auf bin Khazraj, in barah afrad mein se the jinhon ne Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam se Aqabah ki bai'at ula mein shirkat ki thi.
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ: " عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَصْرَمَ بْنِ فِهْرِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ غَنْم بْنِ عُوْف بْنِ الخَزْرَج، فِي الِاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ الَّذِينَ بَايَعُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْعَقَبَةِ الْأُولَى" .
