Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24472
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would stand for the prayer of repentance, he would perform three bows, then prostrate, then perform three more bows, and then prostrate.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نماز توبہ کے لئے کھڑے ہوتے تو تین مرتبہ رکوع کرتے پھر سجدہ فرماتے، پھر تین مرتبہ رکوع کرتے اور سجدہ فرماتے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Namaz Tauba ke liye kharay hote to teen martaba ruku karte phir sajda farmate, phir teen martaba ruku karte aur sajda farmate.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" كَانَ يَقُومُ فِي صَلَاةِ الآَيَاتِ، فَيَرْكَعُ ثَلَاثَ رَكَعَاتٍ، ثُمَّ يَسْجُدُ، ثُمَّ يَرْكَعُ ثَلَاثَ رَكَعَاتٍ، ثُمَّ يَسْجُدُ" .
