Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24752
Aisha narrated that some companions, complaining about the whispers that came to their minds, said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! Such whispers come to us that we would rather fall from the sky than utter them." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "That is pure faith."

حضرت عائشہ سے مریو ہے کہ کچھ صحابہ کرام نے اپنے آپ کو پیش آنے والے وساوس کی شکایت کرتے ہوئے نبی ﷺ سے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! ہمیں ایسے وسو سے آتے ہیں کہ ہمیں وہ زبان پرندے سے زیادہ پسند یہ ہے کہ ہم آسمان سے نیچے گرپڑیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ تو خالص ایمان ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha se marvi hai ki kuch sahaba karam ne apne aap ko pesh aane wale wasawas ki shikayat karte hue Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se arz kiya Ya Rasulullah! Hamein aise waswase aate hain ki hamein wo zuban par laane se ziada pasand ye hai ki hum aasman se neeche gir parrein, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ye to khalis iman hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ خَالِهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: شَكَوْا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا يَجِدُونَ مِنَ الْوَسْوَسَةِ، وَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّا لَنَجِدُ شَيْئًا، لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَنَا خَرَّ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " ذَاكَ مَحْضُ الْإِيمَانِ" .
