Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25003
It is narrated on the authority of Ayesha (May Allah be pleased with her) that once she made a black woolen shawl for Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The blackness of this shawl and the fairness and whiteness of the complexion of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started to be mentioned. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wore it, but when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sweated and started to smell it, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took it off because he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) liked good fragrance.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کے لئے اون کی ایک سیاہ چادر بنائی۔ اس چادر کی سیاہی اور نبی ﷺ کی رنگت کے اجلا پن اور سفیدی کا تذکرہ ہونے لگا، نبی ﷺ نے اسے پہن لیا، لیکن جب نبی ﷺ کو پسینہ آیا اور ان کو بو اس میں محسوس ہونے لگی تو نبی ﷺ نے اسے اتار دیا کیونکہ نبی ﷺ اچھی مہک کو پسند فرماتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ :" أَنَّهَا جَعَلَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُرْدَةً سَوْدَاءَ مِنْ صُوفٍ، فَذَكَرَ سَوَادَهَا وَبَيَاضَهُ، فَلَبِسَهَا، فَلَمَّا عَرِقَ وَجَدَ رِيحَ الصُّوفِ، قَذَفَهَا، وَكَانَ يُحِبُّ الرِّيحَ الطَّيِّبَةَ" .
