Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25004
It is narrated on the authority of Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse of the Holy Quran, " Allah has revealed to you the Book with truth, confirming that which was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. Before, as guidance for the people, and He revealed the Criterion (of judgment). Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah - for them is a severe punishment; and Allah is Exalted in Might, Owner of Retribution.".... Then he said, " When you see such people arguing about the verses of the Quran, then these are the same people whom Allah meant. So beware of them.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے قرآن کریم کی یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی " اللہ وہی ہے جس نے آپ پر کتاب نازل فرمائی ہے جس کی بعض آیتیں محکم ہیں۔ ایسی آیات ہی اس کتاب کی اصل ہیں اور کچھ آیات متشابہات میں سے بھی ہیں، جن لوگوں کے دلوں میں کجی ہوتی ہے، وہ تو متشابہات کے پیچھے چل پڑتے ہیں "۔۔۔۔۔ اور فرمایا کہ جب تم ایسے لوگوں کو دیکھو جو قرآنی آیات میں جھگڑ رہے ہیں تو یہ وہی لوگ ہوں گے جو اللہ کی مراد ہیں، لہٰذا ان سے بچو۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ke aik martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne Quran Kareem ki ye ayat tilawat farmai " Allah wohi hai jis ne aap par kitab nazil farmai hai jis ki baz ayaten muhkam hain. Aisi ayaten hi is kitab ki asal hain aur kuch ayaten mutashabihat mein se bhi hain, jin logon ke dilon mein kajee hoti hai, wo to mutashabihat ke peeche chal parte hain "..... aur farmaya ke jab tum aise logon ko dekho jo qurani ayaton mein jhagar rahe hain to ye wohi log honge jo Allah ki murad hain, lihaza un se bacho.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، قالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، قالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ: هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ... سورة آل عمران آية 7 حَتَّى إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْهَا، قَالَ: " قَدْ سَمَّاهُمْ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ" .
