The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2566
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that one of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed the ghusl (ritual bath) after sexual intercourse. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then performed ghusl or wudu (ablution) using the remaining water. When his wife inquired about this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Water is not made impure by anything."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کی کسی زوجہ محترمہ نے غسل جنابت فرمایا اور نبی ﷺ نے ان کے بچے ہوئے پانی سے غسل یا وضو فرما لیا، ان زوجہ نے نبی ﷺ سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ ”پانی کو کوئی چیز ناپاک نہیں کرتی۔“
Sayidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki kisi zojah muhtarima ne ghusl janabat farmaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ke bachey huye pani se ghusl ya wuzu farma liya, un zojah ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se us ke mutalliq poocha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya keh "pani ko koi cheez napak nahin karti."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَحَمَّتْ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ، فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ فَضْلِهَا، فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي اغْتَسَلْتُ مِنْهُ , فَقَالَ:" إِنَّ الْمَاءَ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ".
