The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2606
'Akrama (may Allah have mercy on him) reported: A man asked Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) drinking of Nabidh. He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to drink Nabidh prepared at night in the morning and the one prepared in the morning at night.

عکرمہ رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نے سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے نبی ﷺ کی نبیذ کے متعلق دریافت کیا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ رات کو تیار کی جانے والی نبیذ دن کو، اور دن کو تیار کی جانے والی نبیذ رات کو پی لیتے تھے۔
Ukrama rahmatullah alaih kehte hain ki aik aadmi ne Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki nabidh ke mutalliq daryaft kiya to unhon ne farmaya ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raat ko taiyar ki jaane wali nabidh din ko, aur din ko taiyar ki jaane wali nabidh raat ko pee lete the.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ نَبِيذِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَقَالَ:" كَانَ يَشْرَبُ بِالنَّهَارِ مَا صُنِعَ بِاللَّيْلِ، وَيَشْرَبُ بِاللَّيْلِ مَا صُنِعَ بِالنَّهَارِ".
