Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26580
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying to his pure wives: “Whoever among you is kind to my Ummah after me will surely be a truthful and righteous person. O Allah, grant Abdur Rahman bin Auf drink from the spring of Salsabil in Paradise.”

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو اپنی ازواج مطہرات سے یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ میرے بعد تم پر جو شخص مہربانی کرے گا وہ یقینا سچا اور نیک آدمی ہوگا اے اللہ عبدا لرحمن بن عوف کو جنت کی سلسبیل کے پانی سے سیراب فرما۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko apni azwaj mutahirat se ye farmate huye suna hai ki mere baad tum par jo shakhs meharbani karega wo yaqinan sacha aur nek aadmi hoga aye Allah Abdur Rahman bin Auf ko jannat ki salsabil ke pani se sairab farma.
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَزْوَاجِهِ: " إِنَّ الَّذِي يَحْنُو عَلَيْكُنَّ مِنْ بَعْدِي لَهُوَ الصَّادِقُ الْبَارُّ" , اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ مِنْ سَلْسَبِيلِ الْجَنَّةِ.
