The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2694
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Once, Jibril (Gabriel, peace be upon him) said to me, 'You have been granted the love of prayer, so pray as much as you wish.'"

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”ایک مرتبہ مجھ سے جبرئیل علیہ السلام نے کہا کہ آپ کو نماز کی محبت عطا کی گئی ہے، اس لئے اسے جتنا چاہیں اختیار کریں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Ek martaba mujhse Jibril Alaihissalam ne kaha ki aap ko namaz ki muhabbat ata ki gai hai, is liye ise jitna chahen ikhtiyar karen“.
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" قَالَ لِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام: إِنَّهُ قَدْ حُبِّبَ إِلَيْكَ الصَّلَاةُ، فَخُذْ مِنْهَا مَا شِئْتَ".
