Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 27564
It is narrated from Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no benefit in the glitter of gold and silk.”

حضرت اسماء رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”سونا اور ریشم میں سے کچھ بھی چمک کا فائدہ نہیں دیتے۔“
Hazrat Asma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Sona aur resham mein se kuchh bhi chamak ka faida nahi dete.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ يَعْنِى ابْنَ يَزِيدَ الْأَوْدِيَّ , عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ , عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ , قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَصْلُحُ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ شَيْءٌ وَلَا بَصِيصُهُ" .
