Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 27569
It is narrated on the authority of Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting this verse like this: «إِنَّهُ عَمِلَ غَيْرَ صَالِحٍ» (Verily, it is an unrighteous deed) and I heard him reciting this verse like this: «يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ , لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ , إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا , وَلَا يُبَالِي , إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ» (O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning]! Despair not of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful).

حضرت اسماء رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ آیت اس طرح پڑھتے ہوئے سنا ہے: «إِنَّهُ عَمِلَ غَيْرَ صَالِحٍ» اور اس آیت کو اس طرح پڑھتے ہوئے سنا ہے: «يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ , لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ , إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا , وَلَا يُبَالِي , إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ» ۔
Hazrat Asma RA se marvi hai ke maine Nabi SAW ko ye ayat is tarah parhte huye suna hai: "Innahu 'amila ghayra salihin". Aur is ayat ko is tarah parhte huye suna hai: "Ya 'ibadiya allatheena asrafoo 'ala anfusihim, la taqnatoo min rahmati Allahi, inna Allaha yaghfiru ath-thunooba jamee'an, wa la yubalee, innahu Huwa al-Ghafooru ar-Raheem".
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ , أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ ثَابِتٍ , عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ , عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ , قالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ: إِنَّهُ عَمِلَ غَيْرَ صَالِحٍ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقْرَأُ: " يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ , لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ , إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا , وَلَا يُبَالِي , إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ" .
