Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 27587
It is narrated on the authority of Asma (May Allah be pleased with her) that at the time of the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) death, his cloak was mortgaged with a Jew for a few measures of barley.

حضرت اسماء رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کی جس وقت وفات ہوئی تو آپ ﷺ کی چادر ایک یہودی کے پاس ایک وسق جَو کے عوض رہن رکھی ہوئی تھی۔
Hazrat Asma raza Allah anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki jis waqt wafaat hui to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki chadar ek yahoodi ke paas ek wasq jau ke awaz rehan rakhi hui thi.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي شَهْرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ يَزِيدَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " تُوُفِّيَ يَوْمَ تُوُفِّيَ، وَدِرْعُهُ مَرْهُونَةٌ عِنْدَ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ بِوَسْقٍ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ" .
