The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2829
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed seven circuits of the Ka'bah during Tawaf, and also performed seven circuits during Sa'i. During Sa'i, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wanted to show his strength to the polytheists (so he ran between the two green markers).

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بیت اللہ کے طواف میں سات چکر لگائے، اور سعی کے دوران بھی سات چکر لگائے، سعی میں آپ ﷺ نے چاہا کہ مشرکین کو اپنی قوت دکھائیں (اس لئے میلین اخضرین کے درمیان دوڑ لگائی)۔
Sayyina Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Baitullah ke tawaf mein saat chakkar lagaye, aur sai ke dauran bhi saat chakkar lagaye, sai mein aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chaha ki mushrikeen ko apni quwwat dikhayen (is liye mileen akhirrain ke darmiyan daud lagayi).
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ سَبْعًا، وَسَعَى سَعياً، وَإِنَّمَا سَعَى أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُرِيَ النَّاسَ قُوَّتَهُ".
