ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3278
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the prayer of the solar eclipse, but we did not hear even one letter of the Qur'an from him, even though he recited aloud.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے سورج گرہن کی نماز پڑھی لیکن ہم نے اس میں نبی کریم ﷺ کو بلند آواز سے قراءت کرتے ہوئے ان سے قرآن کا ایک حرف بھی نہیں سنا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas raza Allahu anhuma se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sooraj grahan ki namaz parhi lekin humne isme Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko buland aawaz se qirat karte huye unse Quran ka ek harf bhi nahi suna.
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ فِي كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ، فَلَمْ نَسْمَعْ مِنْهُ حَرْفًا".
