ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3526
Matalib bin Abdullah narrates that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to wash the body parts of Wudu three times and attribute this practice to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Whereas Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to wash them once and he also attributed this practice to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

مطلب بن عبداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما اعضاء وضو کو تین تین مرتبہ دھوتے تھے اور اس کی نسبت نبی ﷺ کی طرف کرتے تھے جب کہ سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما ایک ایک مرتبہ دھوتے تھے اور وہ بھی اس کی نسبت نبی ﷺ کی طرف کرتے تھے۔
Matlab bin Abdullah kehte hain ki Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a a'zaa wazu ko teen teen martaba dhote thay aur is ki nisbat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki taraf karte thay jab keh Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ek ek martaba dhote thay aur wo bhi is ki nisbat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki taraf karte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ:" كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَتَوَضَّأُ ثَلَاثًا، يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. (حديث موقوف) وَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَتَوَضَّأُ مَرَّةً مَرَّةً، يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
