Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4472

Nafi', may Allah have mercy on him, said that Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, used to combine Maghrib and Isha prayers after the redness of the sunset had disappeared, and he would say that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would also combine these two prayers when he was in a hurry to travel.

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما غروب شفق کے بعد مغرب اور عشاء دونوں کو اکٹھا کر لیتے تھے اور فرماتے تھے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو جب چلنے کی جلدی ہوتی تھی تو وہ بھی ان دونوں نمازوں کو جمع کر لیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَزْرَقُ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ، إِذَا غَابَ الشَّفَقُ، قَالَ: وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَهُمَا إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ".
