Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4473
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade "Qaza'." "Qaza'" means that when a child's hair is cut, some of the hair is shaved off and some is left.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ”قزع“ سے منع فرمایا ہے ”قزع“ کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ بچے کے بال کٹواتے وقت کچھ بال کٹوا لئے جائیں اور کچھ چھوڑ دئیے جائیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne "Qaza" se mana farmaya hai "Qaza" ka matlab ye hai ki bacche ke baal katwate waqt kuch baal katwa liye jayen aur kuch chhor diye jayen.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ يَعْنِي الْغَطَفَانِيَّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْقَزَعِ" وَالْقَزَعُ أَنْ يُحْلَقَ الصَّبِيُّ، فَيُتْرَكَ بَعْضُ شَعَرِهِ.
