Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4493
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the sale of dates until their spathes had burst open and the sale of ears of wheat until they had ripened and were safe from calamities. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) imposed this prohibition on both the seller and the buyer.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے کھجور کی بیع سے منع فرمایا ہے جب تک اس کا شگوفہ نہ بن جائے اور گندم کے خوشے کی بیع سے جب تک وہ پک کر آفات سے محفوظ نہ ہو جائے، نبی کریم ﷺ نے یہ ممانعت بائع (بچنے والا) اور مشتری (خریدنے والا اور بیچنے والا) دونوں کو فرمائی ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne khajoor ki bay se mana farmaya hai jab tak uska shigufa na ban jaye aur gandum ke khushe ki bay se jab tak wo pak kar afaat se mahfooz na ho jaye, Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye mamanat baie (bechne wala) aur mushtari (kharidne wala aur bechne wala) donon ko farmaee hai.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى يَزْهُوَ، وَعَنِ السُّنْبُلِ حَتَّى يَبْيَضَّ وَيَأْمَنَ مِن الْعَاهَةَ، نَهَى الْبَائِعَ وَالْمُشْتَرِيَ".
