Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4522
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When one of your wives asks permission to go to the mosque, do not forbid her." The wife of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also used to go to the mosque and pray. Once Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) told her that he does not like it. She replied that she would not stop unless he forbids her in clear words. Therefore, when the assassination attempt was made on Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), she was also present in the mosque.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کسی کی بیوی مسجد جانے کی اجازت مانگے تو وہ اسے اجازت دینے سے انکار نہ کرے۔“ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی اہلیہ بھی مسجد میں جا کر نماز پڑھتی تھیں ایک مرتبہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان سے فرمایا کہ آپ جانتی ہو کہ مجھے یہ بات پسند نہیں ہے وہ کہنے لگیں کہ جب تک آپ مجھے واضح الفاظ میں منع نہیں کریں گے میں باز نہیں آؤں گی، چنانچہ جس وقت سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ پر قاتلانہ حملہ ہوا تو وہ مسجد میں ہی موجود تھیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar RA se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem SAW ne irshad farmaya: "Jab tum mein se kisi ki biwi masjid jane ki ijazat mange to wo use ijazat dene se inkar na kare." Sayyidna Umar RA ki ahliya bhi masjid mein ja kar namaz parhti thin ek martaba Sayyidna Umar RA ne un se farmaya ki aap janti ho ki mujhe ye baat pasand nahi hai wo kehne lagi ki jab tak aap mujhe wazeh alfaz mein mana nahi karenge mein baz nahi aaungi, chunancha jis waqt Sayyidna Umar RA par qatalana hamla hua to wo masjid mein hi mojood thin.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَتْ أَحَدَكُمْ امْرَأَتُهُ أَنْ تَأْتِيَ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَلَا يَمْنَعْهَا"، قَالَ: وَكَانَتْ امْرَأَةُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ تُصَلِّي فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ لَهَا: إِنَّكِ لَتَعْلَمِينَ مَا أُحِبُّ! فَقَالَتْ: وَاللَّهِ لَا أَنْتَهِي حَتَّى تَنْهَانِي! قَال: فَطُعِنَ عُمَر، وَإِنَّهَا لَفِي الْمَسْجِدِ.
