Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4537
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When any one of you eats, he should eat with his right hand and when he drinks, he should drink with his right hand, for Satan eats and drinks with his left hand.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص کھانا کھائے تو اسے چاہئے کہ دائیں ہاتھ سے کھائے اور جب پیئے تو دائیں ہاتھ سے کیونکہ بائیں ہاتھ سے شیطان کھاتا پیتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jab tum mein se koi shakhs khana khaye to use chahiye ki dayen hath se khaye aur jab piye to dayen hath se kyunki baen hath se shaitan khata peeta hai."
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ، فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِيَمِينِهِ، وَإِذَا شَرِبَ، فَلْيَشْرَبْ بِيَمِينِهِ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ، وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ".
