Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4536
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: A fire will emerge from Hadramawt, an area in Syria, and will drive people (towards the place of gathering). We asked: O Messenger of Allah! What do you command us to do at that time? He said: "Stick to the land of Syria (i.e., migrate there).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے حضرموت جو کہ شام کا ایک علاقہ ہے سے ایک آگ نکلے گی اور لوگوں کو ہانک کر لے جائے گی ہم نے پوچھا: یا رسول اللہ! پھر آپ اس وقت کے لئے ہمیں کیا حکم دیتے ہیں؟ فرمایا: ”ملک شام کو اپنے اوپر لازم کر لینا (وہاں چلے جانا)۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai Hadramout jo k Sham ka aik ilaqa hai se aik aag niklegi aur logon ko hank kar le jayegi hum ne poocha ya Rasulullah phir aap us waqt ke liye humain kya hukum dete hain farmaya: “Mulk Sham ko apne upar lazim kar lena (wahan chale jana)”.
حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، أَن َّ يَحْيَى بْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ أَبَا قِلَابَةَ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" تَخْرُجُ نَارٌ مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ، أَوْ بِحَضْرَمَوْتَ، فَتَسُوقُ النَّاسَ"، قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَا تَأْمُرُنَا؟ قَالَ:" عَلَيْكُمْ بِالشَّامِ".
