عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عتاب بن زياد الخراساني ثقة

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4746

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a slain woman in a battle, so he prohibited the killing of women and children.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے کسی غزوہ میں مقتول عورت کو دیکھا تو عورتوں اور بچوں کو قتل کر نے سے روک دیا۔

Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kisi ghazwa mein maqtool aurat ko dekha to aurton aur bachchon ko qatl karne se rok diya.

حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُبَارَكٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ امْرَأَةً مَقْتُولَةً، فَأَنْكَرَ ذَاكَ، وَنَهَى عَنْ" قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ".
