Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4808
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever wishes to seek Laylat al-Qadr, let him seek it in the twenty-seventh night," and he said, "Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the twenty-seventh night."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص شب قدر کو تلاش کرنا چاہتا ہے وہ اسے ستائیسویں رات میں تلاش کرے اور فرمایا کہ شب قدر کو ستائیسویں رات میں تلاش کرو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs Shab e Qadr ko talash karna chahta hai wo use sattaiwein raat mein talash kare aur farmaya ki Shab e Qadr ko sattaiwein raat mein talash karo۔“
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بَنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مَنْ كَانَ مُتَحَرِّيَهَا، فَلْيَتَحَرَّهَا لَيْلَةَ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ"، وَقَالَ:" تَحَرَّوْهَا لَيْلَةَ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ" يَعْنِي لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْر".
