Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4812

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you lower your dead into the grave, say: 'In the name of Allah and upon the religion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).'"


Grade: Sahih

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم اپنے مردوں کو قبر میں اتارو تو کہو «بسم الله وعلى ملة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم» ۔“

Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jab tum apne murdon ko qabar mein utaro to kaho «Bismillah wa ala millati Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)»."

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِ هُوَ النَّاجِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِذَا وَضَعْتُمْ مَوْتَاكُمْ فِي الْقَبْرِ، فَقُولُوا: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ".
