Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4828
Bakr bin Abdullah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) used to spend the night in Butain and mention that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to do the same.

بکر بن عبداللہ رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بطحاء میں رات گزارتے تھے اور ذکر کرتے تھے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے بھی یوں ہی کیا ہے۔
Bakr bin Abdullah rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a Batha mein raat guzarte thay aur zikr karte thay ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bhi yun hi kiya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ " كَانَ يَهْجَعُ هَجْعَةً بِالْبَطْحَاءِ، وَذَكَرَ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ.
