Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4854
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) left the area of Khaybar to its inhabitants in exchange for half of their produce, and this remained the case throughout the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) blessed life. It remained the same during the life of Sayyidina Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and also during the life of Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). Once, Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) sent me to Khaybar to divide their share, but the Jews there performed magic on me, and the joint of my hand bone became dislocated. After that, Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) confiscated Khaybar from them.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے خیبر کا علاقہ وہاں کے رہنے والوں ہی کے پاس نصف پیداوار کے عوض رہنے دیا اور نبی ﷺ کی پوری حیات طیبہ میں ان کے ساتھ یہی معاملہ رہا، سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کی زندگی میں بھی اسی طرح رہا، سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی زندگی میں بھی اسی طرح رہا، ایک مرتبہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے مجھے خیبر بھیجا تاکہ ان کے حصے تقسیم کر دوں، تو وہاں کے یہودیوں نے مجھ پر جادو کر دیا اور میرے ہاتھ کی ہڈی کا جوڑ ہل گیا، اس کے بعد سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبیر کو ان سے چھین لیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Khyber ka ilaqa wahan ke rehne walon hi ke pass nisf paidawar ke awaz rehne diya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki poori hayaat tayyiba mein un ke sath yahi mamla raha, Sayyidna Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki zindagi mein bhi isi tarah raha, Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki zindagi mein bhi isi tarah raha, ek martaba Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne mujhe Khyber bheja taake un ke hisse taqseem kar dun, to wahan ke Yahoodion ne mujh per jadu kar diya aur mere hath ki haddi ka jorr hil gaya, is ke baad Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne Khyber ko un se chheen liya.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" دَفَعَ خَيْبَرَ إِلَى أَهْلِهَا بِالشَّطْرِ، فَلَمْ تَزَلْ مَعَهُمْ حَيَاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلَّهَا، وَحَيَاةَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَحَيَاةَ عُمَرَ، حَتَّى بَعَثَنِي عُمَرُ لِأُقَاسِمَهُمْ، فَسَحَرُونِي، فَتَكَوَّعَتْ يَدِي، فَانْتَزَعَهَا عُمَرُ مِنْهُمْ.
