Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4855
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) wanted to buy Barirah, but her owner refused to sell her and said that they would only sell her if the Wala (allegiance) belonged to them. Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) mentioned this to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Buy her and free her, for Wala is the right of the one who pays the price."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بریرہ کو خریدنا چاہا لیکن بریرہ کے مالک نے انہیں بیچنے سے انکار کر دیا اور کہا کہ اگر ولاء ہمیں ملے تو ہم بیچ دیں گے، سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے یہ بات نبی کریم ﷺ سے ذکر کی تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تم اسے خرید کر آزاد کر دو، ولاء اسی کا حق ہے جو قیمت ادا کرتا ہے۔“
Sayyeda Ibne Umar RA se marvi hai ke Sayyeda Ayesha RA ne bureira ko khareedna chaha lekin bureira ke malik ne unhen bechne se inkar kar diya aur kaha ke agar wala humein mile to hum bech denge, Sayyeda Ayesha RA ne ye baat Nabi Kareem SAW se zikar ki to Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya: "Tum usay khareed kar azad kar do, wala usi ka haq hai jo qeemat ada karta hai."
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، عَنْ هَمَّامٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَرَادَتْ أَنْ تَشْتَرِي بَرِيرَة، فَأَبَى أَهْلُهَا أَنْ يَبِيعُوهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُمْ وَلَاؤُهَا، فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ عَائِشَةُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" اشْتَرِيها فَأَعْتِقِيهَا، فَإِنَّمَا الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْطَى الثَّمَنَ".
