Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4858
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in Mina, along with the two Sheikhs (Abu Bakr and Umar - may Allah be pleased with them), and also for six years behind Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). All of them used to pray the shortened prayer (Qasr) like travelers.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ حضرات شیخین رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ اور چھ سال سیدنا عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ بھی منٰی میں نماز پڑھی ہے یہ سب حضرات مسافروں والی نماز پڑھتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ خُبَيْبٍ ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ سِتَّ سِنِينَ بِمِنًى، فَصَلَّوْا صَلَاةَ الْمُسَافِرِ".
