Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4868
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), after assuming the state of Ihram (ritual purity for Hajj), forbidding people from wearing certain things, saying, "Do not wear a shirt, pants, a turban, a hooded cloak, or socks, unless someone cannot find shoes. If a person cannot find shoes, then he should cut his socks below the ankles and wear them. Similarly, do not wear clothes that have been dyed with saffron or Wars (a type of plant). I also heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbidding women in the state of Ihram from wearing gloves and veils, as well as clothes dyed with saffron or Wars."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے اس منبر پر نبی ﷺ کو احرام باندھنے کے بعد لوگوں کو مکروہات سے منع کرتے ہوئے سنا ہے، قمیض، شلوار، عمامہ، ٹوپی اور موزے مت پہنو، الاّ یہ کہ کسی کو جوتے نہ ملیں جس شخص کو جوتے نہ ملیں اسے چاہئے کہ وہ موزوں کو ٹخنوں سے نیچے کاٹ کر پہن لے، اسی طرح ایسا کپڑا جس پر ورس نامی گھاس یا زعفران لگی ہوئی ہو، وہ بھی محرم نہیں پہن سکتا نیز میں نے نبی ﷺ کو حالت احرام میں خواتین کو دستانے اور نقاب پہننے کی ممانعت کرتے ہوئے سنا ہے، نیز ان کپڑوں کی جنہیں ورس یا زعفران لگی ہوئی ہو۔
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine is mimbar par Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ehram bandhne ke bad logon ko makruhat se mana karte huye suna hai qameez shalwar amama topi aur moze mat pehno illa ye ki kisi ko joote na milen jis shakhs ko joote na milen use chahiye ki woh mozon ko takhnon se niche kat kar pehan le isi tarah aisa kapda jis par wars nami ghas ya zafraan lagi hui ho woh bhi muhrim nahi pehan sakta niz maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko halat ehram mein khawateen ko dastane aur niqab pehenne ki mamanat karte huye suna hai niz un kapdon ki jinhen wars ya zafraan lagi hui ho.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ، وَهُوَ يَنْهَى النَّاسَ إِذَا أَحْرَمُوا عَمَّا يُكْرَهُ لَهُمْ:" لَا تَلْبَسُوا الْعَمَائِمَ، وَلَا الْقُمُصَ، وَلَا السَّرَاوِيلَاتِ، وَلَا الْبَرَانِسَ، وَلَا الْخُفَّيْنِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يُضْطَرَّ مُضْطَرٌّ إِلَيْهِمَا، فَيَقْطَعَهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ، وَلَا ثَوْبًا مَسَّهُ الْوَرْسُ وَلَا الزَّعْفَرَانُ"، قَالَ:" وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَنْهَى النِّسَاءَ عَنِ الْقُفَّازِ، وَالنِّقَابِ، وَمَا مَسَّ الْوَرْسُ وَالزَّعْفَرَانُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ".
