Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4902

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No three nights should pass for any person, upon whom another Muslim has any right (due to him), except that his will is written down with him.”


Grade: Sahih

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”کسی شخص پر اگر کسی مسلمان کا کوئی حق ہو تو تین راتیں اس طرح نہیں گزرنی چاہئیں کہ اس کی وصیت اس کے پاس لکھی ہوئی نہ ہو۔“

Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Kisi shakhs par agar kisi Musalman ka koi haq ho to teen raaten iss tarah nahin guzarni chahiye ki uski wasiyat uske pass likhi hui na ho.“

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ تَمُرُّ عَلَيْهِ ثَلَاثُ لَيَالٍ إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتُهُ عِنْدَهُ".
