Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5093

It is narrated, probably as a Marfu' narration, from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that whoever says "Insha'Allah" while taking an oath, then he has the option, if he wishes to fulfill his oath, he may do so, and if he wishes to go back on it, he may do so without incurring any sin.

Grade: Sahih

Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se ghaliban marfooan marvi hai ki jo shakhs qasam khate waqt Insha Allah keh le use ikhtiyar hai, agar apni qasam puri karna chahe to kar le aur agar us se rujoo karna chahe to hanth huye baghair rujoo kar le.
