Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5228
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) divorced his wife during her menstrual period. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about this issue. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Tell him to take his wife back, then divorce her after she becomes pure or if there is hope (of pregnancy) he can divorce her then too."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اپنی بیوی کو ایام کی حالت میں ایک طلاق دے دی، سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی ﷺ سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اسے کہو کہ وہ اپنی بیوی سے رجوع کر لے، پھر طہر کے بعد اسے طلاق دے دے یا امید کی صورت ہو تب بھی طلاق دے سکتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar Raziallahu Anhuma ne apni biwi ko ayyam ki halat mein aik talaq de di, Sayyidna Umar Raziallahu Anhu ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se yeh masla poocha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya use kaho ke woh apni biwi se rujoo kar le, phir tahur ke baad use talaq de de ya umeed ki surat ho tab bhi talaq de sakta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَوْلَى آلِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ فِي الْحَيْضِ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ عُمَرُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَقَالَ:" مُرْهُ فَلْيُرَاجِعْهَا، ثُمَّ لِيُطَلِّقْهَا وَهِيَ طَاهِرٌ أَوْ حَامِلٌ".
