Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5250
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wear his ring with the stone facing his palm.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ آپ ﷺ اپنی انگوٹھی کا نگینہ ہتھیلی کی طرف کر لیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ ، وَسُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" يَجْعَلُ فَصَّ خَاتَمِهِ مِمَّا يَلِي بَطْنَ كَفِّهِ".
