Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5305
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in a hurry during a journey, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would combine Maghrib and Isha prayers, performing them one after the other with a short interval.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو جب سفر کی جلدی ہوتی تھی تو آپ ﷺ مغرب اور عشاء کے درمیان جمع صوری فرما لیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" إِذَا عَجِلَ بِهِ السَّيْرُ، جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ".
