Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5325
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! What clothes can we wear after assuming Ihram? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “One cannot wear a shirt, trousers, turban, and socks unless one does not have shoes. Whoever does not have shoes should cut the socks below the ankles and wear them. Similarly, one cannot wear a cap or cloth that has grass called Wars or saffron on it."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا: یا رسول اللہ! ہم احرام باندھنے کے بعد کون سے کپڑے پہن سکتے ہیں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”قمیض، شلوار، عمامہ اور موزے نہیں پہن سکتا الاّ یہ کہ اسے جوتے نہ ملیں، جس شخص کو جوتے نہ ملیں اسے چاہئے کہ وہ موزوں کو ٹخنوں سے نیچے کاٹ کر پہن لے اسی طرح ٹوپی یا ایسا کپڑا جس پر ورس نامی گھاس یا زعفران لگی ہوئی ہو،بھی محرم نہیں پہن سکتا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se marvi hai ki aik aadmi ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se pucha: Ya Rasulullah! Hum ehram bandhne ke baad kaun se kapre pehn sakte hain? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Qameez, shalwar, amama aur moze nahi pehn sakta illa ye ki use joote na milen, jis shakhs ko joote na milen use chahiye ki wo mozon ko takhnon se neeche kaat kar pehn le isi tarah topi ya aisa kapra jis par wars nami ghaas ya zaafran lagi hui ho, bhi muhrim nahi pehn sakta.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَا نَلْبَسُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ إِذَا أَحْرَمْنَا؟ قَالَ:" لَا تَلْبَسُوا الْقَمِيصَ، وَلَا السَّرَاوِيلَ، وَلَا الْعِمَامَةَ، وَلَا الْخُفَّيْنِ، إِلَّا أَحَدٌ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ، فَلْيَلْبَسْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ، وَلَا الْبُرْنُسَ، وَلَا شَيْئًا مِنَ الثِّيَابِ مَسَّهُ وَرْسٌ أَوْ زَعْفَرَانٌ".
