Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5453
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "The month is of 29 days."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ ارشاد فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ مہینہ ٢٩ کا ہوتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye irshad farmate huye suna hai ki mahina 29 ka hota hai.
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ".
