Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5460
Muhammad bin 'Abbad (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I said to Muslim bin Yasar, "Ask Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) in my presence, 'What have you heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding the one who lets his lower garment hang down out of pride?'" He said, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'Allah will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Resurrection.'"

محمد بن عباد رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے مسلم بن یسار سے کہا کہ میری موجودگی میں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے یہ سوال پوچھیں کہ تکبر کی وجہ سے اپنا تہبند زمین پر لٹکانے والے کے متعلق آپ نے نبی ﷺ سے کیا سنا ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ ایسے شخص پر اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن نظر رحم نہیں فرمائے گا۔
Muhammad bin Abad rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke maine Muslim bin Yasar se kaha ke meri mojoodgi mein Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se yeh sawal poochhen ke takabbur ki wajah se apna tehband zameen par latkane wale ke mutalliq aap ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kya suna hai? Unhon ne farmaya ke maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh farmate huye suna hai ke aise shakhs par Allah ta'ala qayamat ke din nazar-e-reham nahin farmaye ga.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، يَقُولُ: أَمَرْتُ مُسْلِمَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ مَوْلَى نَافِعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَارِثِ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ وَأَنَا جَالِسٌ بَيْنَهُمَا: مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيمَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ شَيْئًا؟ فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ:" لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".
