Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5601
Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) faced the two corners of the long wall (which is opposite the Ka`ba) and placed the mosque (built on a hillock at one side of the valley) on his right and offered prayer there. His place of prayer was below that, towards the black hillock, at a distance of about ten cubits from the hillock. He stood up and offered the prayer facing the two corners, between which there was a space equal to the width of the long wall (which is in front of the Ka`ba).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اس طویل پہاڑ کے (جو خانہ کعبہ کے سامنے ہے) دونوں حصوں کا رخ کیا، وہاں بنی ہوئی مسجد کو " جو ٹیلے کی ایک جانب ہے " دائیں ہاتھ رکھا، نبی ﷺ کی جائے نماز اس سے ذرا نیچے کالے ٹیلے پر تھی نبی ﷺ ٹیلے سے دس گز یا اس کے قریب جگہ چھوڑ کر کھڑے ہوئے تھے اور ان دونوں حصوں کا رخ کر کے نماز پڑھتے تھے جو اس طویل پہاڑ میں نبی ﷺ اور خانہ کعبہ کے درمیان تھے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is tooel pahad ke (jo khana kaba ke samne hai) donon hisson ka rukh kia, wahan bani hui masjid ko " jo teile ki aik janib hai " dayen hath rakha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki jaye namaz is se zara neeche kale teile par thi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) teile se das gaz ya us ke qareeb jagah chhor kar kharde hue the aur in donon hisson ka rukh kar ke namaz parhte the jo is tooel pahad mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur khana kaba ke darmiyan the.
(حديث موقوف) قَالَ: قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" اسْتَقْبَلَ فُرْضَتَيْ الْجَبَلِ الطَّوِيلِ الَّذِي قِبَلَ الْكَعْبَةِ، فَجَعَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ الَّذِي بُنِيَ يَمِينًا، وَالْمَسْجِدُ بِطَرَفِ الْأَكَمَةِ، وَمُصَلَّى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسْفَلُ مِنْهُ، عَلَى الْأَكَمَةِ السَّوْدَاءِ، يَدَعُ مِنَ الْأَكَمَةِ عَشْرَ أَذْرُعٍ أَوْ نَحْوَهَا، ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْفُرْضَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْجَبَلِ الطَّوِيلِ الَّذِي بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَةِ".
