Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5629
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once saw in a dream Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). He said: "I saw that people were gathered, and Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and drew one or two buckets, but there was some weakness in him, may Allah forgive him. Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) drew the buckets, and they became large in his hand, and I have never seen such a strong man filling the buckets like him, until he had given drink to the people."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ خواب میں سیدنا ابوبکر و عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو دیکھا، فرمایا: ”میں نے دیکھا کہ لوگ جمع ہیں، سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ کھڑے ہوئے اور انہوں نے ایک یا دو ڈول کھینچے لیکن اس میں کچھ کمزوری تھی اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی بخشش فرمائے پھر عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے ڈول کھینچے اور وہ ان کے ہاتھ میں آ کر بڑا ڈول بن گیا، میں نے کسی عبقری انسان کو ان کی طرح ڈول بھرتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا یہاں تک کہ انہوں نے لوگوں کو سیراب کر دیا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba khwab mein Sayyidna Abu Bakr o Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ko dekha, farmaya: "Main ne dekha keh log jama hain, Sayyidna Abu Bakr Siddiq (رضي الله تعالى عنه) khade hue aur unhon ne ek ya do dol khenche lekin us mein kuch kamzori thi Allah Ta'ala un ki bakhshish farmaye phir Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne dol khenche aur wo un ke hath mein aa kar bada dol ban gaya, main ne kisi abqari insan ko un ki tarah dol bharte hue nahi dekha yahan tak keh unhon ne logon ko serab kar diya."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ رُؤْيَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، قَالَ:" رَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ اجْتَمَعُوا، فَقَامَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، فَنَزَعَ ذَنُوبًا أَوْ ذَنُوبَيْنِ، وَفِي نَزْعِهِ ضَعْفٌ، وَاللَّهُ يَغْفِرُ لَهُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ ابْنُ الْخَطَّابِ، فَاسْتَحَالَتْ غَرْبًا، فَمَا رَأَيْتُ عَبْقَرِيًّا مِنَ النَّاسِ يَفْرِي فَرِيَّهُ، حَتَّى ضَرَبَ النَّاسُ بِعَطَنٍ".
