Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5636
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once Sayyida Umm Sulaim (may Allah be pleased with her), who was the mother of Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) this question: "O Messenger of Allah! If a woman experiences in her dream that which a man experiences, what is the ruling?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If a woman sees water in her dream and also experiences a discharge, then she must perform Ghusl (ritual bath)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدہ ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا نے (جو سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ کی والدہ تھیں) نبی ﷺ سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھا کہ یا رسول اللہ! اگر عورت بھی خواب میں اس کیفیت سے دوچار ہو جس سے مرد ہوتا ہے تو کیا حکم ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جب عورت خواب میں پانی دیکھے اور انزال بھی ہو جائے تو وہ بھی غسل کرے گی۔“
Saina Ibn Umar RA se marvi hai keh ek martaba Saida Umm Sulaim RA (jo Saina Anas RA ki walida thi) Nabi SAW se yeh masla pucha keh Ya Rasulullah! Agar aurat bhi khwab mein iss kefiyat se dochar ho jis se mard hota hai to kya hukum hai? Nabi SAW ne farmaya: Jab aurat khwab mein pani dekhe aur inzal bhi ho jaye to woh bhi ghusl karegi.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ الْجَبَّارِ الْأَيْلِيَّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سُمَيَّةَ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ: سَأَلَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ وَهِيَ أُمُّ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، تَرَى الْمَرْأَةُ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَا يَرَى الرَّجُلُ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِذَا رَأَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ ذَلِكَ وَأَنْزَلَتْ، فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ".
