Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5642
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed twice: "O Allah! Bestow blessings in our Syria and Yemen." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah! Please pray for our East too." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "From there rises the horn of Satan and nine out of ten evils are from there."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے دو مرتبہ یہ دعاء کی کہ اے اللہ! ہمارے شام اور یمن میں برکتیں عطاء فرما، ایک آدمی نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہمارے مشرق کے لئے بھی دعاء فرمائیے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”وہاں سے تو شیطان کا سینگ طلوع ہوتا ہے اور دس میں سے نو فیصد شر وہیں سے ہوتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne do martaba ye dua ki ke Aye Allah! Humare Sham aur Yemen mein barkatein ata farma, aik aadmi ne arz kiya: Ya Rasulullah! Humare Mashriq ke liye bhi dua farmaiye? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”wahan se to shetan ka sing talu hota hai aur dus mein se nau fisad shar wahin se hota hai.“
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي شَامِنَا، ويَمَنِنَا" مَرَّتَيْنِ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: وَفِي مَشْرِقِنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مِنْ هُنَالِكَ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ وَبَهَا تِسْعَةُ أَعْشَارِ الشَّرِّ".
