Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5656
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) organized a horse race and gave a prize to the winner.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے گھڑ دوڑ کا مقابلہ منعقد کروایا اور جیتنے والے کو انعام دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ghor daud ka muqabla munakid karwaya aur jeetne wale ko inam diya.
حَدَّثَنَا قُرَادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" سَبَّقَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ، وَأَعْطَى السَّابِقَ".
