Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5673
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that sometimes when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would sit on the pulpit and pray for rain, all the streams would start flowing even before he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) got down. At that time, when I would look at the beautiful face of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), I would remember this couplet of the poet: "That fair-complexioned one, who is made a means for the clouds to rain, and the one who is the protector of orphans and widows." Remember that this is a couplet said by Abu Talib in praise of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ بعض اوقات نبی ﷺ جب منبر پر بیٹھ کر طلب باران کر رہے ہوتے، تو آپ ﷺ کے اترنے سے پہلے ہی سارے نالے بہنے لگتے، اس وقت جب میں نبی ﷺ کے رخ زیبا کو دیکھتا تو مجھے شاعر کا یہ شعر یاد آتا۔ وہ سفید رنگت والا جس کی ذات کو واسطہ بنا کر بادلوں سے پانی برسنے کی دعاء کی جاتی ہے اور وہ شخص جو یتیموں کا فریاد رس اور بیواؤں کا محافظ ہے، یاد رہے کہ یہ ابو طالب کا نبی ﷺ کی شان میں کہا گیا شعر ہے۔
Saina Ibne Umar Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ki baaz auqaat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab mimbar par beth kar talab baran kar rahe hote, to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke utarne se pehle hi sare naale behne lagte, us waqt jab mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke rukh zeba ko dekhta to mujhe shayar ka yeh sher yaad aata. Woh safaid rangat wala jis ki zaat ko wasila bana kar badalon se pani barsne ki dua ki jati hai aur woh shakhs jo yateemon ka faryad ras aur bewaon ka muhafiz hai, yaad rahe ki yeh Abu Talib ka Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki shan mein kaha gaya sher hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَقِيلٍ وَهُوَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَقِيلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ:" رُبَّمَا ذَكَرْتُ قَوْلَ الشَّاعِرِ، وَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَجْهِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَسْتَسْقِي، فَمَا يَنْزِلُ حَتَّى يَجِيشَ كُلُّ مِيزَابٍ"، وَأَذْكُرُ قَوْلَ الشَّاعِرِ: وَأَبْيَضَ يُسْتَسْقَى الْغَمَامُ بِوَجْهِه ثِمَالُ الْيَتَامَى عِصْمَةٌ لِلْأَرَامِلِ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ.
