Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5675
Ibn Abi Na'im narrated that once, a man asked Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), in my presence, this question: "What is the ruling if a person in the state of Ihram kills a fly?" Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked him, "Where are you from?" He replied, "Iraq." Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Wow! Look at this, these people of Iraq are coming to me asking about killing a fly, while they killed the grandson of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (without even asking anyone), even though I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying about his two grandsons that 'they are the two fragrances of my life in this world'."

ابن ابی نعم کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے کسی آدمی نے میری موجودگی میں یہ مسئلہ پوچھا کہ اگر محرم کسی مکھی کو مار دے تو کیا حکم ہے؟ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اس سے پوچھا تم کہاں کے رہنے والے ہو؟ اس نے کہا عراق کا، انہوں نے فرمایا: واہ! اسے دیکھو، یہ اہل عراق آ کر مجھ سے مکھی مارنے کی بارے میں پوچھ رہے ہیں جبکہ نبی ﷺ کے نواسے کو (کسی سے پوچھے بغیر ہی) شہید کر دیا، حالانکہ میں نے سنا ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اپنے دونوں نواسوں کے متعلق فرمایا تھا کہ یہ دونوں میری دنیا کے ریحان ہیں۔
Ibne Abi Niyam kehte hain ke aik martaba syedna Ibne Umar Radi Allaho Anhuma se kisi aadmi ne meri mojoodgi mein ye masla poocha ke agar muharram kisi makhi ko maar de to kya hukm hai? Syedna Ibne Umar Radi Allaho Anhuma ne us se poocha tum kahan ke rehne wale ho? Usne kaha Iraq ka, unhon ne farmaya: Wah! Ise dekho, ye ahl Iraq aa kar mujh se makhi maarne ke bare mein pooch rahe hain jabke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke nawase ko (kisi se pooche baghair hi) shaheed kar diya, halanke maine suna hai ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne apne donon nawason ke mutalliq farmaya tha ke ye donon meri duniya ke reihan hain.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نُعْمٍ ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَأَنَا جَالِسٌ، فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ دَمِ الْبَعُوضِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ؟ قَالَ: مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ، قَالَ: هَا، انْظُرُوا إِلَى هَذَا! يَسْأَلُ عَنْ دَمِ الْبَعُوضِ، وَقَدْ قَتَلُوا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" يَقُولُ هُمَا رَيْحَانَتِي مِنَ الدُّنْيَا"!!.
