Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5676
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (RA) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: “He who withdraws his hand from obedience to the rightful ruler of his time, he will meet Allah (on the Day of Judgement) who will accept no excuse on his behalf. And he who dies while not owing allegiance to (the Muslim ruler), dies the death of one belonging to the Days of Ignorance.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص صحیح حکمران وقت کی اطاعت سے ہاتھ کھینچتا ہے، قیامت کے دن اس کی کوئی حجت قبول نہ ہو گی اور جو شخص جماعت کو چھوڑ کر مرگیا تو وہ جاہلیت کی موت مرا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh farmate huye suna hai ki jo shakhs sahih hakumran waqt ki ita'at se hath khenchta hai, qayamat ke din uski koi hujjat qubool na ho gi aur jo shakhs jamaat ko chhor kar mar gaya to woh jahiliyat ki maut mara.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" مَنْ نَزَعَ يَدَهُ مِنَ الطَّاعَةِ، فَلَا حُجَّةَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ مَاتَ مُفَارِقًا لِلْجَمَاعَةِ، مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً".
