Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5678
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) announced the call for prayer. When Sayyidna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) came to know about it, he rode his horse and went to his house. He took off the clothes he was wearing because he would not go to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in those clothes and changed into other clothes and set out towards the mosque. At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was coming down from the pulpit and the people were standing in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Sayyidna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) asked the people: "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) give any new command today?" The people said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has forbidden nabidh." He asked: "Which nabidh?" The people said: "The one prepared in gourds and wood." The narrator says that I asked Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him): "What is the ruling on jarrah?" He said: "What is jarrah?" I said: "Hantam." He asked: "What is hantam?" I said: "An earthen pot." He said: "He did not forbid it." I asked: "What is the ruling on mizfat?" He asked: "What is mizfat?" I said: "It is a waterskin on which pitch is applied." He said: "On that day, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) only forbade (drinking nabidh from) gourds and wood."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے لوگوں میں الصلوة جامعة کی منادی کروائی، سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو پتہ چلا تو وہ اپنے گھوڑے پر سوار ہو کر اپنے گھر پہنچے، جو کپڑے پہن رکھے تھے وہ اتارے کیونکہ وہ ان کپڑوں میں نبی ﷺ کے پاس نہ جاتے تھے اور دوسرے کپڑے بدل کر مسجد کی طرف چل پڑے، اس وقت نبی ﷺ منبر سے نیچے اتر رہے تھے اور لوگ نبی ﷺ کے سامنے کھڑے تھے، سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے لوگوں سے پوچھا کہ آج نبی ﷺ نے کوئی نیا حکم دیا ہے؟ لوگوں نے بتایا کہ نبی ﷺ نے نبیذ کی ممانعت کر دی ہے، انہوں نے پوچھا: کون سی نبیذ؟ لوگوں نے بتایا کدو اور لکڑی میں تیار کی جانے والی۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نافع رحمہ اللہ سے پوچھا جرہ کا کیا حکم ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا جرہ کیا چیز ہوتی ہے؟ میں نے کہا حنتمہ، انہوں نے پوچھا حنتمہ کیا چیز ہوتی ہے؟ میں نے کہا مٹکا، انہوں نے فرمایا: اس کی ممانعت نہیں فرمائی، میں نے پوچھا مزفت کا کیا حکم ہے؟ انہوں نے پوچھا مزفت کیا چیز ہوتی ہے؟ میں نے بتایا کہ ایک مشکیزہ ہوتا ہے جس پر لک مل دی جاتی ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: اس دن نبی ﷺ نے صرف کدو اور لکڑی کے برتن سے منع فرمایا تھا۔
Sayyedna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne logon mein alsalatu jami ki munaddi karwai, Sayyedna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ko pata chala to woh apne ghore par sawar ho kar apne ghar pahunche, jo kapde pahen rakhe the woh utare kyunki woh un kapdon mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass na jate the aur dusre kapde badal kar masjid ki taraf chal pade, is waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mimbar se neeche utar rahe the aur log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne khare the, Sayyedna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne logon se puchha ki aaj Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne koi naya hukm diya hai? Logon ne bataya ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne nabidh ki mamanat kar di hai, unhon ne puchha: kaun si nabidh? Logon ne bataya kaddu aur lakdi mein taiyar ki jane wali. Rawi kahte hain ki maine Nafi Rahmatullah Alaih se puchha jarah ka kya hukm hai? Unhon ne kaha jarah kya cheez hoti hai? Maine kaha hantumma, unhon ne puchha hantumma kya cheez hoti hai? Maine kaha matka, unhon ne farmaya: is ki mamanat nahi farmai, maine puchha mazfat ka kya hukm hai? Unhon ne puchha mazfat kya cheez hoti hai? Maine bataya ki ek mashkiza hota hai jis par lak mal di jati hai, unhon ne farmaya: is din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sirf kaddu aur lakdi ke bartan se mana farmaya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الصَّهْبَاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَادَى فِي النَّاسِ: الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ، فَانْطَلَقَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ جَوَادًا، فَأَلْقَى ثِيَابًا كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِ، وَلَبِسَ ثِيَابًا كَانَ يَأْتِي فِيهَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ انْحَدَرَ مِنْ مِنْبَرِهِ، وَقَامَ النَّاسُ فِي وَجْهِهِ، فَقَالَ: مَا أَحْدَثَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْيَوْمَ؟ قَالُوا:" نَهَى عَنِ النَّبِيذِ، قَالَ: أَيُّ النَّبِيذِ؟ قَالَ: نَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالنَّقِيرِ"، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لِنَافِعٍ فَالْجَرَّةُ؟ قَالَ: وَمَا الْجَرَّةُ؟ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: الْحَنْتَمَةُ، قَالَ: وَمَا الْحَنْتَمَةُ؟ قُلْتُ: الْقُلَّةُ، قَالَ: لَا، قُلْتُ: فَالْمُزَفَّتُ؟ قَالَ: وَمَا الْمُزَفَّتُ؟ قُلْتُ: الزِّقُّ يُزَفَّتُ، وَالرَّاقُودُ يُزَفَّتُ، قَالَ: لَا، لَمْ يَنْهَ يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلَّا عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالنَّقِيرِ.
