Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5697
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah has placed truth upon Umar’s tongue and heart." Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whenever an issue would arise before the people and they would hold an opinion, and Umar would hold another, the revelation from the Quran would come down confirming Umar's opinion.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اللہ نے عمر کے قلب و زبان پر حق کو جاری فرما دیا ہے“، سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ لوگوں کے سامنے جب بھی کوئی معاملہ پیش آتا اور لوگوں کی رائے کچھ ہوتی اور سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی رائے کچھ، تو قرآن کریم اسی کے قریب قریب نازل ہوتا جو سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی رائے ہوتی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Allah ne Umar ke qalb o zaban par haq ko jari farma diya hai”, Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain ki logon ke samne jab bhi koi mamla pesh aata aur logon ki rai kuchh hoti aur Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki rai kuchh, to Quran Kareem usi ke qareeb qareeb nazil hota jo Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki rai hoti.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَارِجَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ جَعَلَ الْحَقَّ عَلَى قَلْبِ عُمَرَ وَلِسَانِهِ"، قَالَ: وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: مَا نَزَلَ بِالنَّاسِ أَمْرٌ قَطُّ فَقَالُوا فِيهِ، وَقَالَ فِيهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ، أَوْ قَالَ عُمَرُ، إِلَّا نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى نَحْوٍ مِمَّا قَالَ عُمَرُ.
