Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5710
Khalid Al-Khaddah said that once Abu Al-Malih (may Allah have mercy on him) said to Abu Qilabah (may Allah have mercy on him) that he and his father, Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He (the Prophet) offered them a leather cushion filled with date palm fibers, but I did not lean on it and it remained between me and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

خالد الخداء کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ابوالمیلح رحمہ اللہ نے ابوقلابہ رحمہ اللہ سے کہا کہ میں اور آپ کے والد سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے تھے، انہوں نے ہمیں یہ حدیث سنائی کہ وہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے، تو نبی ﷺ نے انہیں چمڑے کا تکیہ پیش کیا جس میں کھجور کی چھال بھری ہوئی تھی، لیکن میں اس کے ساتھ ٹیک لگا کر نہیں بیٹھا اور وہ تکیہ میرے اور نبی ﷺ کے درمیان ہی پڑا رہا۔
Khalid ul Khuda kehte hain keh ek martaba Abu al Melih rehmatullah alaih ne Abu Kulaba rehmatullah alaih se kaha keh main aur aap ke walid Sayyiduna Ibn e Umar raziAllahu anhuma ki khidmat mein hazir hue thay, unhon ne humain yeh hadees sunaai keh woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hue, tou Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen chamre ka takiya pesh kiya jis mein khajoor ki chhaal bhari hui thi, lekin main uske sath taik laga kar nahin baitha aur woh takiya mere aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke darmiyan hi para raha.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ ، أَنَّ أَبَا الْمَلِيحِ قَالَ لِأَبِي قِلَابَةَ: دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَأَبُوكَ عَلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَحَدَّثَنَا، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،" فَأَلْقَى لَهُ وَسَادَةً مِنْ أَدَمٍ حَشْوُهَا لِيفٌ، وَلَمْ أَقْعُدْ عَلَيْهَا، بَقِيَتْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ".
