Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5735
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever washes the limbs of wudu once, then this is the obligation of wudu which is necessary (and Fard), whoever washes twice, will get double the reward and whoever washes three times, then this is my wudu and this was the wudu of the Prophets before me (peace be upon them).”.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص ایک مرتبہ اعضاء وضو کو دھوتا ہے تو یہ وضو کا وہ وظیفہ ہے جس کا ہونا ضروری (اور فرض) ہے، جو دو مرتبہ دھوتا ہے اسے دہرا اجر ملتا ہے اور جو تین مرتبہ دھوتا ہے تو یہ میرا وضو ہے اور مجھ سے پہلے انبیاء کرام (علیہم السلام) کا بھی یہی وضو ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs ek martaba aaza wazu ko dhota hai to ye wazu ka woh wazifa hai jis ka hona zaroori (aur farz) hai, jo do martaba dhota hai use dohra ajr milta hai aur jo teen martaba dhota hai to ye mera wazu hai aur mujh se pehle anbiya kiram (Alaihimussalam) ka bhi yahi wazu hai.“
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ وَاحِدَةً، فَتِلْكَ وَظِيفَةُ الْوُضُوءِ الَّتِي لَا بُدَّ مِنْهَا، وَمَنْ تَوَضَّأَ اثْنَتَيْنِ، فَلَهُ كِفْلَانِ، وَمَنْ تَوَضَّأَ ثَلَاثًا، فَذَلِكَ وُضُوئِي، وَوُضُوءُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ قَبْلِي".
