Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5751
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade [wearing] mithrah, qasiyyah, gold rings, and mufdam. The narrator says that mithrah refers to the hides of predatory animals, qasiyyah refers to garments made of silk that were brought from Egypt, and mufdam refers to garments dyed with saffron.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے میثرہ، قسیہ، سونے کے حلقے (چھلے) اور مفدم سے منع فرمایا ہے، راوی کہتے ہیں کہ میثرہ سے مراد درندوں کی کھالیں ہیں، قسیہ سے مراد ریشم سے بنے ہوئے کپڑے ہیں جو مصر سے لائے جاتے تھے اور مفدم سے مراد زرد رنگ سے رنگے ہوئے کپڑے ہیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne misrah, qasiya, sone ke halqe (chhale) aur mufdam se mana farmaya hai, ravi kehte hain ki misrah se murad darindon ki khalain hain, qasiya se murad resham se bane hue kapde hain jo Misr se laye jate the aur mufdam se murad zard rang se range hue kapde hain.
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُهَيْلِ أَو سُهَيْلِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْمِيثَرَةِ، وَالْقَسِّيَّةِ، وَحَلْقَةِ الذَّهَبِ، وَالْمُفْدَمِ"، قَالَ يَزِيدُ: وَالْمِيثَرَةُ: جُلُودُ السِّبَاعِ، وَالْقَسِّيَّةُ: ثِيَابٌ مُضَلَّعَةٌ مِنْ إِبْرَيْسَمٍ يُجَاءُ بِهَا مِنْ مِصْرَ، وَالْمُفْدَمُ: الْمُشَبَّعُ بِالْعُصْفُرِ.
